Personal Information

I have recently started working as a PhD student at D2. My current research revolves around finding ways to explain how deep networks function, while also looking for explicit design choices that can make them more interpretable.

Previously, I studied my Master's in Visual Computing at Saarland University, while working here at D2 as a Research Assistant (Hiwi) under supervision of Dr. Moritz Böhle and Sukrut Rao. Together we looked into how explanation methods (both post-hoc and model-inherent ones) can be leveraged to steer models' training. Over the span of two projects, we explored guiding models via explanations with human annotations or with explanations of a teacher model.

For further info, kindly refer to my Personal Webpage , Google Scholar, and Linkedin.
