Shopping Facilities
Larger shops and department stores in downtown Saarbrücken close at 8pm Monday-Friday, at 4pm on Saturday, and are closed on Sunday. Some bakeries are open until 11am or 12noon on Sundays. Only the bakery at the Hauptbahnhof is open on Sundays until thlate afternoon. A small grocery shop in the Hauptbahnhof is also open longer hours.
